I love these Products!

Sapun!001
I have heard about these organic products for quite a while but never really got to used them until 3 months ago. From that time on I was hooked!

I am talking about the Human Nature line of organic products that is slowly becoming the popular choice of everyone. I would say I am one of those people who is trying to drive the cause by signing up as a dealer. I joined not only because it is a good business opportunity but because I believe in the advocacy behind the making of these amazing products .

Human Heart Nature, is closely linked with Gawad Kalinga , a world-class organization that has helped a lot of poor Filipino people realize their dreams of owning a house. These Gawad Kalinga farmers are the ones contracted to plant high value crops used as raw materials for the product. In a sense, when we used the product, we are not only getting the chance to use a wonderful line of personal care, but we are also helping the Gawad Kalinga farmers improve their quality of life . Isn’t this noble :)

Among the product, my favorites are the peppermint lip balm, the peppermint shampoo and the peppermint conditioner. I don’t like peppermint, right? :)

The peppermint lip balm is one of the top seller among my friends. They love the cool effect it has on their lips. It is good for those chapped lips especially inside an air-conditioned room. The other two variants are Watermelon and Mandarin.

I have also recommended the Mango and Peppermint Hair mask to them and boy ! they really love it. Others prefer the Avocado and Gugo mask since some of them don’t want the tingly feeling of peppermint though. To each its own eh!. :)

Another product that Mommies should get is the bug spray. Based on my friend Lea’s testimonial, it does not only deter mosquitoes but it has also lightened up her baby’s allergy scars . It is also

DEET (N,N-Diethyl-meta-toluamide)

free , thus she is assured that she is not putting any chemical on her baby’s skin.

DEET is actually the most common active ingredient in most insect repellents. It works to repel mosquitoes by blocking the insects olfactory receptors. Just like any other chemicals though, it also has its side effect on human. Overuse of DEET can have a side effect that range from dizziness and disorientation to even death. Come to think about it, DEET can even melt plastic. I am just glad that we now have a wonderful alternative then.

There are other products that I love from Human Nature and hopefully I will be able to write about them here. For now, I am still in the process of using each one of them.

I will surely talk about which one I like again in the next posts. Watch out for more!! :)

Ghon is dead!

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

Remember Gohn? The German shepherd that my brother had to give up for adoption as he cannot afford feeding him anymore? I have just heard that he is dead now. It was really a shocking news for me and in an early morning at that.

I feel so sad and I know my family will feel sad too.

I feel sad that I will not be able to visit him as I have promised to do. I just didn’t get the time the last few weeks. I feel sad remembering all those bath times when I used on him my favorite shampoo ( not a dog shampoo but my own favorite brand). I feel sad for all the days I could have taken good care of him , but because of exhaustion from work was not able to do.

Most of all, I feel sad for the family we gave him to. It is unfair for a gift to be taken away when all the members in their family have become used to having him around. Blaise ( the new owner) said that his Mom got depressed as Gohn had been her companion in he early morning jog.

To you Ma’am, cheer up! I feel the loss too. Let us just be thankful that we were able to share in the joy of having him around :)
Don’t worry, when I get a new dog , I will share him with you.
For now, we can only say , we miss you Gohn!
