Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao did it again!
This is a long overdue blog that I have been wanting to write. However because of the busy schedule at work with the high volume of queue and all that, I wasn’t’ able to finish it right away.
It has been expected that Manny would win the match. Well, of course I am one of his countrymen so I root for my own. However that match made me admire Cotto and he gained one fan out of me.
The fact that he made it to the 12th round showed that he was a good match for our Manny. Unlike Ricky Hatton who only lasted up to the 2nd round with him. That was really shameful. I am sure his fans were disappointed.
One thing that made me like Cotto is the fact that even when he was bleeding and all, he went over to Manny to congratulate and hug him. That was indeed a very nice thing to do. It showed a real sportsman. He looked sad but not mean.
I hope he wins his next fight, though I hope his next match would not be with Manny again, because by then I will be torn between him and our very own Pacman?
One thing is sure though, guys like Miguel Cotto are worth the admiration and adulation of fans like me.
