Graveyard Shift again?

Sunday, May 31st, 2009

Whew!

It’s the start of a new cycle of “graveyard shift” for me tonight. It would be another 3 months plus of sleeping during day time and working during the night. It would be 3 long months of dealing with irate and polite clients alike. As of this writing, I am currently dealing with a quite difficult customer. Not that she is irate. It’s just that she is a newbie on networking but is just too eager to click on anything ahead. It can be frustrating too to get that kind of customer as it delays the session and make it longer than it should be .

It’s different when you deal with these kind of customers during daytime. During nighttime, my fuse is quite low and I tend to get irritated easily. But mind you, no matter how irritated I am, it has never never shown on the transcript of my sessions. I blurt it out on an empty chair and say a different tune to my clients. That is my secret to getting Excellent Customer Service rating. I have my outlet for my irritation and anger so that I don’t get to say it to my clients.

Well, I hope I live up to the feat again. It’s still my first day of work, but I am looking forward to taking my day-off already. Oh my! I need inspiration. :) Anyone?

Some of us are not meant to belong. Some of us have to turn our world upside down and shake the hell out of it, until we make our own place in it.

Dr. Hayden Kho scandal!

Friday, May 29th, 2009

With the on-going brouhaha re: Video scandal of Dr. Hayden Kho and his bevy of women, one thing that is glaring is the fact that its so easy for some of us to condemn a person for his sins. Some of us have this “holier than thou attitude” and we seem to regard ourselves as the epitome of good behavior.I am not saying that I condone the act of Hayden. What he did is something that is beyond normal especially in our country

It is not the first time though that we have heard and seen videos like these. There have been countless video sex scandals that have been proliferating the cyber world. What may have made the difference this time is that the involved personalities in the current controversial videos are popular Celebrities.

I don’t think it was necessary for this matter to merit a Senate hearing. They have better issues to tackle and better things to do.

Yes, this should be looked into , but the main purpose of the investigation should have been to stop those who download these kind of videos to the Internet. Some of those videos we see now have innocent people in the cast. It should not be the act of sex nor the act of recording it for posterity that should be given too much focus. After all, for all we know some of those investigators have their own skeleton in their closet. Maybe worst. :)

It’s a known fact that there are individuals who have their own fetish or fixations Maybe with Hayden, it is seeing his bed performance on tape that makes him happy. That fixation is now the cause of his misery. The person who leaked all these videos must be having a great time gloating about it. But then again, is he going to have the last laugh? Maybe not. :(

Nice reward!!

15-years-symbol

Personal - Top Blogs Philippines

I have always envied people who can stay in one place for a long period of time. Maybe I just don’t have that in me because I am a Saggitarian. By nature we are wanderers. We love to roam, discover new horizons and go places. You cannot expect me to be doing the same thing for the rest of my life. If am blogging now, who knows, I may not be doing this in the future anymore. Not for lack of interest but for lack of time. ? ? ?

What brought this to mind is the gold ring that my sister got from Land Bank. It’s a symbol that she has been with that office for 15 long years, and counting. I guess I will never be able to duplicate the feat.

I hope all offices whether public or private can do the same for their employees. Rewards like that can make an employee feel appreciated. It can bring about renewed vigor and positive attitude towards work. As I have always believed, a happy and contented worker is a productive one.
